We dont get many, but when we do we like the welcome the easterly winds gracing Auntie Mables shores, and there is no better way than to get your kiting gear on the beach at the first opportunity. There was a nice crowd this weekend, probably more freestylers than anything else, and the skills these guys displayed was a thrill to see for us and the holiday beach dwellers, which was a nice change to see.
The wind was blowing N/East around 12-15mph, I ended the day with 61 miles and 41mph on my GPS, and the beach was almost pan flat and in great condition as you can see from the video.
