I started about 50 kms straight south of Dubai and my route went somewhat Z shaped. I have marked a map to give you an idea where I went. You will see some blue at the top left hand corner of the map which is the Persian Gulf. You can also see the Dubai creek.
I have also marked were my villa is in the Arabian Ranches.
The red lines aren’t roads but just desert track.
